The GREATER BOKSBURG CHAMBER OF COMMERCE AND INDUSTRY (GBCCI) is a non-profit organisation serving business and the community in the Greater Boksburg area as part of the Ekurhuleni Metro.Our aim is to promote local socio-economic growth and development. To achieve this we purposefully seek means to create opportunities for business and the community to grow and prosper. We are proud of our track record of support to entrepreneurs, local business and the community.

MISSION STATEMENT

As the Greater Boksburg Chamber of Commerce and Industry we strive to: -

Assist Business and Entrepreneurs in developing skills to,

• Promoting business, providing information and advice as well as developing Boksburg, both Community and Business to its full potential.
• Giving fair representation at Local, Provincial and National Government level.
• Attempting to influence policy making for the good of Boksburg Community and Business, and assist Business to grow through Communication, Social involvement and Responsibility.

The GBCCI is your partner in the national chamber association through its affiliation to the South African Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SACCI) with accreditation to the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC). SACCI is the national representative for all Chambers of Commerce and Industry at government level.

 We Are The Voice Of Business

The GBCCI represents business people and therefore has the interest of business at heart.

Together with the Ekurhuleni Business Association we work side by side in an attempt to improve business in the whole of Boksburg as well as Ekurhuleni. Please refer to our Services page.

This forum is non-political and includes organisations such as the National Federation of Chambers of Commerce (NAFCOC), the Industrialists Association, and the Afrikaanse Handels Instituut (AHI).

All Chambers of Commerce and Industry within the boundaries of the Ekurhuleni Metropolitan Council are included.

The GBCCI is constantly in contact with overseas chambers, embassies and businesses. We are constantly promoting export and import trade opportunities.

The stronger your support of the GBCCI, the better our negotiation power on your behalf at all levels.

The structure of the GBCCI is based on sound business principles with a constitution governing our actions. Our constitution also allows for the involvement in community upliftment programmes through socio-economic development strategies.
